Guidelines for 2009 Jackson Hole Dining Guide cover art
Format
Any art medium designed for wall display is acceptable. Art composition should not include cover elements such as page design and title. Vertical, horizontal, or square formats will all be considered equally.
Content
The only criteria for content is that the art must suggest dining in Jackson Hole. With that in mind, anything goes.
Delivery & Exhibition
All art submitted will be displayed in September at a location in Jackson yet to be determined. Art should be delivered to our office in the Hostel in Teton Village by August 22, 2008. All art must be framed or otherwise ready to hang on a wall.
Selection
The publishers, along with input from a small panel of art aficionados, will select one piece to use on the cover. The art selected will be photographed for reproduction on 100,000 copies of the 2009 edition of the Jackson Hole Dining Guide and its online version. Other works may also be selected and photographed for consideration as future covers. No photo copies of any art will be used in any way without first negotiating with the artist.
Payment
The artist selected will receive a $350 commission paid at the time of publication in November. All original art remains the property of the artists. Artist’s credit and art info will appear below the art on the cover. Additional info on the artist and the Call for Entrees will appear inside the Dining Guide with production credits.

Please email us at focus.info@bresnan.net so that we know the degree of participation. We will email participants notification of where and when in September the show will exhibit once we secure a location. We can also answer any questions that you may have.
